RIM has confirmed on Twitter that they will be offering the BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet through select retailers for $199 for the holidays.This offer will be available for a limited time.
As a reminder, the BlackBerry PlayBook comes jam packed with a 7-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz Texas Instruments dual-core processor, a 3.0-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1GB RAM and GPS navigation. The gadget also offers several connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth, a micro USB port and a micro HDMI port.
